About Us

Hi! I’m Samantha Thomas, owner of Seedlings Kid & Baby.  

I’m A former Kindergarten teacher, turned stay at home mom. The idea for a children’s store first came to me when my oldest was a baby. I quickly realized I had to drive an hour or order online to find many of the styles I wanted to purchase. I began dreaming of how to open a children’s store locally one day. We had our second child and I became consumed by motherhood and put the idea out of my mind.

Fast forward to early 2021, I felt a really strong push to revisit the idea. I talked to my husband about it and he fully supported my dream, even if he thought it was a little crazy. I began reaching out to other store owners and soaking in as much knowledge as I could. In March, I woke up one day knowing I had to go for it. Things started slowly coming together and here we are! 

I am so excited to bring Seedlings to Clarksville and get to know all of you!
